Finca La Hermosa, lovingly owned and operated by the Perez family, is a celebrated gem tucked away on the scenic slopes of the Acatenango Volcano in southern Guatemala. This award-winning farm has earned numerous accolades in the prestigious Cup of Excellence, establishing itself as a source of remarkable cupping coffees that truly delight the senses.
Max Pérez, born and raised within the heart of the coffee community, always envisioned creating his own coffee business. As a proud fourth-generation coffee producer from the enchanting Huehuetenango region, he combined his passion with purpose. After graduating as a lawyer at just 25 and marrying his college sweetheart Claudia, they set out on a journey to realize their dream by founding Finca La Hermosa in 2011.
With elevations soaring to 2,100 masl, nutrient-rich volcanic soil, abundant rainfall, and a perfectly balanced average temperature of 21ºC, Finca La Hermosa boasts one of the world's finest microclimates for cultivating specialty coffees.
